Evvy Kartini is the founder of the National Battery Research Institute (NBRI), the President of Materials Research Society, and the President of the Neutron Scattering Society. Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Evvy Kartini has been educating the public through news channels regarding the implementation of battery vehicles and battery production in Indonesia. The main goal of NBRI is to encourage and support a battery manufacturing industry using local resources, which will enable Indonesia to be energy independent. The NBRI was supported by the UK Government’s Global Challenge Research Fund (GCRF), as part of the Queen Mary University of London QR allocation.
